Its been a while, but I now have my blogging fingers primed, after a long absence, having been very busy offline these past few months. I will also be putting up my demos and slides from the various user groups/conferences I've been at during this time, so see you there.

Wah.Onterra is dead, long live Granell.NET

This is a time I used to associate with either (a) leaving night clubs, or (b) being up for a morning flight on a consulting or training run. Now the whole range of 1:00 am to 6:00 am can be associated with a sleep/feed hybrid, thanks to the birth on boxing day of my beautiful daughter Jordana.

While I know that Mitch had a cute daughter competition running last year, I have to say, in my completely objective opinion, that Jordana is definitely a front runner, see for yourself here. For those about to be dads, or those thinking about it, it’s certainly a learning curve…

Debra, my wife, works in technical support, where it was usually tricky trying to get the customer to tell you what was really wrong. With a being that has a one bit binary communication channel (on = crying), it is certainly a challenge to get to the heart of the production critical matter (or it may just be a cuddle is required).

Well, time for a quick nap before her highness wants breakfast, or morning tea.
